OUR HYDRO TECHNOLOGY (SMALL)
Viewing the list of renewable resources and their technologies, hydropower remains the most appropriate renewable energy for the sub-region due to the followings;
- Hydropower(small) is a predictable energy source.
- Its technologies can easily be adopted with the sub-region circumstances and the level of capacity straight.
In concrete terms, the development of small hydropower in the sub-saharan Africa, the vast small hydro potential could be enhanced to help the sub-region meet its energy needs and achieve most goals of the Millennium Development Goals (MDG).
In a private institution like ASA-LAMBDA Technology, we are building strong links between academic institutions and other relevant government establishments. Although, apparently there is no romance between us, we believe on the long run there will be clean testimony of our works. We can boast of having a team dedicated specially to the needs of small-scale conventional technology. Our research funding is derived from the contribution of our members.
